Perfectly located for exploring the New Forest National Park, our family-run campsite offers the following:

• Free range eggs and firewood available to buy from the farm

• Grass pitches only (no hardstanding) 

 

At just over 1.5 acres, we have a modest 12 pitches, with nearly all pitches having access to electric hook-up (should you require it), with drinking water and fire points at various locations across the site.

Pitches are clearly marked for fire safety reasons, and to ensure everyone can enjoy the space. With views over the fields and space on the site for children to enjoy the great outdoors, we also have a short woodland trail which is also home to several species of birds, deer and other wildlife.

From the campsite, it is a short journey back to open access forest and Highland Water Inclosure which offers great off-road cycling trails. Emery Down is just under a mile for the popular New Forest Inn, and the village of Minstead is just over a mile which offers both the Trusty Servant Inn and a well stocked Community Shop. Lyndhurst is 2.5 miles for Tesco Express, Co-op, a camping supplies shop, bike hire and many independent shops, restaurants and tearooms.

Dogs are very welcome as long as kept on leads due to nearby livestock. BBQs and firepits are permitted as long as they are raised off the ground, metal bins are provided to dispose of the coals once they are cool.

We are a small, peaceful site and regret we cannot take groups or bookings of more than 2 units together. As part of the Camping & Caravanning Club, caravans/motorhomes/campervans must be members of the Camping & Caravanning Club (membership number will be required at point of booking). Please note we do not have playgrounds/pools/shops or Wi-Fi - just the opportunity to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!

We are open from the beginning of April to the end of October each year. Prices start from £24 per night off peak including 2 people - please contact us for availability and costs.

**2024 Season** 

With the continuing unsettled weather, the site is (at times) wetter than normal.

We kindly ask that MOTORHOMES MUST PRE-BOOK so that we can check the conditions are suitable for larger vehicles, and if necessary meet you on arrival to avoid becoming stuck.

Any towing assistance providing to remove stuck vehicles is at the vehicle owner's own risk
