Minstead Manor Farm sits in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Comprising both woodland and parkland, the farm supports a modest sheep enterprise and other agricultural diversification activities.
We have been running our small Camping & Caravanning Club Campsite since 1997 and continue to welcome both new and returning campers. We have also started a small glamping enterprise – Silver Bells – watch this space for more information!
We produce grass fed lamb as well as free range eggs, and also supply a small amount of venison to a local game dealer.
Each summer we produce hay bales, which are sold for fodder to local smallholders and equestrians, as well as being hired out for events across Hampshire and Dorset.
In more recent years, we have branched out into firewood production, using fallen timber from the surrounding traditional woodland to supply seasoned hardwood to homes across the New Forest.
The farm continues to be run by the Green Family – Chris and his wife Deran, along with their children Sarah and Harry. The farm has been passed down through generations with a local historian tracing the family’s routes back to Domesday, and we are keen to continue to look after the farm and its environment for generations to come!
